This was taken with our old Rebel XT with the kit lens about a year ago.
Our son found this little beauty at about 10pm at night in a corner outside of our house. Totally dark outside.
I had him hold an LED flashlight on her and all I could really do was put the camera on "auto" since I couldn't even look thru the viewfinder, I had to reach my arm out, hope I had her in-frame, half-push the button, wait for the "beep", then complete the exposure.
There is NO processing to the photo other than a bit of a crop.
That hair on the right is actually in the web, or I would have cloned it out. Actually if I were really going to show this pic to clients or print it for my wall, I'd be doing a lot more processing to it.
