Hi,

While this is my first post on the forum, I signed up a couple of weeks ago to read up and get some tips on sports photography.

I went round a friend-of-a-friend's golf course and took some photos of both the course and people playing; He needed some photos and I wanted some experience. It was fairly overcast that day, so most of the photographs were shot at ISO 200-400 to try and get the speed up.

I'll be doing a second golf shoot in just under a month, so any tips you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Incase you're wondering, I'm not getting paid, I'm just doing this as a hobby.

I've selected what I'd consider to be the better photos and linked them here, but feel free to browse the full range at http://www.fuzzee.co.uk/tmp/golf/

You will have better feedback if you post the actual image in the thread rather than putting links for everyone to jump too.

Welcome to the forum Adrian...
#1 is a great shot ..just a little dark on my monitor ..maybe you could lighten it up a bit..
The others not so good...
The first action shot is just OOF .. you can see the focal point is on the mud patch bottom left...
The last image is great..sharp on the player..just would have like to have seen it with the sharpness on the flag tender...
All in all well done and thanks for posting them ...goodluck with the second shoot...
cheers

The first shot with the pond is pretty good.
