Thanks in advance

It's a small hard drive, so will be less tolerant of operating shock and more power-hungry than CF flash memory. At the price of CF flash memory, it's not worth it.

Thank you. Seeing CF, you think it's ok, but I just didn't know what to tell him, I'm such a noob myself!

Its a microdrive. That means its a little mini hard drive. Regular Flash CF is solid, whereas microdrives have spinning and moving parts.
CF is more reliable and less prone to damage upon being dropped or similar.
That being said I have 2 4gig microdrives and have been very happy with them, they are pretty slow but if your not shooting 15 frame bursts alot they will work just fine.
That price is pretty good for 8 gigs, but if you can splurge a little more check out

I wouldnt trust a mini hard drive with my photos... Solid state or its a no go...

I'd say steer clear as well, although there are probably some satisfied users, CF cards have dropped so low in price I think you would be better off with a nice Sandisk or Lexar CF card.

I agree now that I know what that is! Thanks!
