I like the shot. Especially the eyes. She sort of looks like Linda Ronstadt (sp?). What was the iso on the shot? Did you purposely make it grainy?

This was taken originally in a studio on B&W print film, it was one of the first shots taken and was overexposed a bit. However I liked the eyes so played with it in the darkroom and ended up with a shot that was quite contrasty and grainy. I took a photograph of the print and that's what you see here, allbeit only about 30% of the original.

I like the grain. Now that technology is nearly overcoming noise I think we will start seeing the creative types coming up with some really nice effects and actually adding noise. I've tried adding noise selectively with varying results.
