i was hiking and i found this guy on the ground. he was pretty much dead barely moving. he must have had a big slam his eye is all dented in.

Ouch, that had to hurt. I have never seen this, but have thought about bug eye damage before. Very nice shot. It shows the crinkled up eye well.

Ya know, on a closer look, it looks like he is just moulting his old skin, the new one coming out the top of the back. Could that be?
