Dang, I don't know how to title this post.

Anyway, what I'm trying to do is put up a site that will allow me to put up a site for clients to view images (proofs) of what has been taken and allow them to select it for final prints/archiving. The prints/archiving will be done on my end, they just need to have an intuitive way to select the images.

It doesn't have to be complicated and I know that there are Zenfolio, Smugmug but I may need something simpler...if anything cheaper.

I would recommend PhotoCart, it is a onetime cost for the software and then you just have to pay for hosting and such. There is also Gallery2 and JAlbum or something like that, they are free but I have never used them.

More info about PhotoCart - http://www.picturespro.com/

I use gallery in one of my sites, it's ok but I will check out the others you mentioned. I have heard of Jalbum, I just never looked into it further.

I don't use such sites, but here are two I've seen recommended often:

Those sites are like istock, etc. I'm looking for uploading proofs for clients to review and select which pictures they want for print or want as cd/dvd.
