A question on the above.. i hv tons of mf slr accessories..step up/down rings, ext. tubes, tele-con, etc.. and i wonder if by chance i'll be able to use it on my a75 (assuming the thread dia were the same).
i've seen a post by megaweb on macro photography which is truly awesome!

Step-up and step-down rings, yes. Filters, yes. Extension tubes, no. Teleconverters, depends on the kind. Basically, anything that screws onto the lens filters should be usable (to a greater or lesser degree) on the A75 with its filter adapter installed (LA-DC52 something), but things like extension tubes and teleconverters which mount between the camera and lens won't, for obvious reasons, work. The qualifier above is because there are some lens converters (usually wide/fisheye converters rather than teleconverters) which screw onto the front of the lens. They may well work, but you may need to resort to manual focus.
