Cool! The only thing I suggest is to get rid of the "Click here for" text. People will know they have to click the giant word/image to see that gallery. I think it kind of takes away from the design. I realize he'll have to go back and edit all of the images, but I think it'd be a good change.

Might want to protect the images...otherwise, people can right click, save as... and they have em free.
Interesting take on the site...but, I'm not sure how big a fan I am of the pictures that have to be clicked, in order to view them.
It is nice and fast to load, though...that's always a plus.

Very nice... by the way it should be "Photos by Mike", with no apostrophe. If you're going to sell photos, might as well make it as grammatically correct as possible.

Hi Mike,
I first got involved in website construction in 1996, learning the hard way how to do HTML. Nowadays I really only use it for personal photo galleries, although I have built commercial sites that make clients money.
Your site is quite flashy and I can understand how you would be delighted to have something so visually different from your old site.
However I don't find it very functional from both viewing your images, nor prospectively purchasing an image.
When the "Click here for my Galleries" link is followed it takes the viewer to a single page where there is a collage of around 15 non vertical images. It is not easy to understand what to do on this page. When clicked it provides an enlargement with copyright text all over it. I was looking for a means to view more of your work, but the same 15 images are all that are present.
Clicking the purchase photos link brings the viewer to another page that isn't easy to understand what to do next. Even after clicking around, another page appears with thumbnails. If you click favourites a java window pops up asking you to login. I went to the bottom left and clicked one of the packages, nothing happened. I then clicked an image and it took me to another page, but I had to enter the size of the image all over again.
Other links on that page are password protected.
The whole shopping cart part of your site is completely confusing.
The galleries aspect also requires a more intuitive selection process and a means to view more of your fabulous work. I could only find 15 images on that gallery page... the others were protected. If you wish to gather some revenue from the site, and to provide the viewer with a greater selection of your work, I would ask your Son to review these points. After all you are paying for a domain name and annual hosting packages, you might as well make it work for you in the best way possible.
Cheers.
Cousin. :p

CousinMadness, thank you for your comments I will forward this to my web designer "My Son".
My wife said basically the same thing. I hate it when she is right.

Hi!
Your photos were all so nice. I especially like the scenery gallery, both the colour and the angle of views. The 'Airport at Sundown' is awesome!!!!.
What camera do you use currently? Is that a professional one?
