I look forward to their return every spring. They nest just as the reeds are coming up for cover, the males protect the nest so right now is prime time to get them. The female was a witch to get, she seemed to always make sure there was a reed between her and the lens.

These aren't that great. I tried a few different things with processing.
But Sheldon (2 year old) wasn't happy, Dad wasn't smiling, and the couple good ones that I got were OOF. :rolleyes: So I tried to mask it with Midnight actions. It bothers me, but I'm sure she won't notice or mind.

Also... they put Sheldon's shirt on backwards cause they didn't like the logo thing on it, then he wouldn't sit forward in any of the pics. :lol: SO you can see it on his back.
I cleaned it up on the shots of him walking away, but I couldn't on the ones where he is being held. I tried it on one.. didn't work. :lol:

Also, I had a rather unfun day. I left work at about noon with (yet another) nasty ear infection. The used me as a human pincushion, and finally released me to the outside world at around 3:45. :confused:

I will say one thing.... Getting a shot in the arse, much better than the arm. and I really really dislike blood being drawn. Took 2 tries, too. The first attempt had me thinking of Mr Burns at the Dr's office when they tried to draw blood from him. "Ooh, I think I saw some over there the other day"
