Cat when you check back in, I found in the mpix book software you can use your own photo as a background design and fade it out and then overlay photos on top, REALLY nice feature. I just re-did my book! lol.THAT is cool. :D

The funniest thing happened. Janie (our title clerk) & I had to go get our Notary Public commissions renewed. We were in line and the idot behind the counter asked, "are ya'll here for a marriage license?" I replied, "OH GOD NO!" Everyone in the room stopped and looked. I am sure that my face was 8 shades of red. Janie and I just laughed. But that is not the end. The bride that were getting a marriage license told me on her way out, "I work with little kids all day, like I tell them, 'yes you said that out loud.' " Janie and I laughed some more.

Huey is neat. I have one. Rather quick to measure. The only real issue I've had is it's hard to get stuck to the monitor, so I usually wind up sort of holding mine to the monitor as it measures.

Not really, Harm is just a shortened name (Harmeet) for me....But I can put it to evil uses when needed also...

Apart from that, I'm a wandering nomad really...born & raised in ye olde england, spent most of my days in Newcastle (home of the putrid brown ale), but am now currently in Boston (US not Lincolnshire!) and who knows where after that!!!. Only recently splashed out on a 40D last month, so I have just dipped my toes into a more insane world. All I have to do now is save up and get myself some lenses, bits and bobs...oh and perhaps some photo editing software...I have a long way to go!

P.s. I am as insane as they go.

Thanks...I was lucky with the woman (not in that way, pervs!!) as she was just walking away, and there was nothing else around....so that shot has no PP, since I don't have any software anyhow!!

As for the castle...back in England, it was just 30 minutes away from home. Bamburgh Castle - google it up for the beach shots...which I never got a chance to do, but it is one of the most stunning shots you could get of a castle.

This morning while at work I found myself near the Java City, so I stopped by for a 20oz. Mocha. First one I've had since mid-April. It gave me such a throbbing headache!

Deb, just asI finished typing, I heard a thump on my window..went down and checked it out.a baby nuthatch did a header.but he is fine and flew away after about 10 minutes...this is the closest I have been to this species;)
