Pretty cool event this year. Toyota United decided to come and dominate the nights I went they went 1-2-3 and 1-2-3-4-5 in the Men's pro races, but it was still exciting with other racers sprinting to the front for lap premiums. Really put the xti and bigma through a test with this one the AF lagged a bit with things this fast this close. Fairly difficult conditions with bright sun but, Tell me what you think.

They look ok. Bit soft for my liking but 2nd photo with a tighter crop would look alright.

In the middle of the day your better off switching to a shorter lens and using flash.

These look good, a couple (especially 1 and 3) are overexposed.

^^^^^ Yep. ... Most of the pics are a bit too tight to give proper context to the shot. Cycling shots often benefit from a composition that allows the primary subject to be viewed in a manner that allows the viewer to feel a sense of the action by virtue of the other cyclists. If the pictures are too tight, they tend to feel static. In this regard, the last 2 images are best. In the first 3 images, too much of the bike is out of the frame resulting in very static images. As Dan-o pointed out, a shorter lens would have allowed a wider AOV.

I really like the composition in the first three and the 6th photos. The light definitely looks like it made things tough.
