A Religious Sunset

The picture below struck me as a "religious theme" after I downloaded the evenings shooting session. Please let me know what you think!!

That cloud looks a bit like a hand grabbing the sun.

Nice shot - love the reflection.

1: Your shot is as good as the 2 samples on the Kodak site.

2: You shot is about as good as the two most recent sunsets with water reflections that two other members posted within the past 4 weeks.

3: You shot lacks the compositional content of sunsets that have been posted by several Aussies (see Eland and Rudi for example) in the past 8 months.

While no one can deny your sun is great .. the 50-50 horizontal split .. the centered subject .. the lack of a foreground ... the distance to the background.. the rather monochtomatic colors ... the vry contained reflection on the water limit this image's potential.

1: Go to the Kodak site
2: Give me a "word Picture" of your next sunset.
3: Crop this withe the sun on a Golden Mean and the boats or whatever we see signs of in the foregound.

Too Tough? Well, hold your response until you return with Sunset #2.
