Hi, I just wanted some feedback on my smugmug site. I made a bunch of customizations and just would like some feedback.
Thanks I appreciate your advice!

I think your customizing could go alot further, if your looking to have customers go there. But then again it is about the photo's and your pics are very nice.....love the dogs, and some really awesome shots from Maui! Here's my site, I did alot of customizing= www.joerallen.com

Looks good, John. I just recently started to customize my site, and I have a long way to go.
If you want, you can clean up that footer to eliminate some of the Smugmug stuff, the RSS feeds and display some text of your own.
Also, you can remove the "johnfahertyphotography' home" text if you want also.
I got the code off the DGRIN site, but I'll be happy to share it with you if needed.
Check out my site for examples of what I am talking about. Like I said, I still have a long way to go.

Thanks for your feedback everyone! Yeah, between working on my blog and my smug site... whew! I just need to, like MT said, clean up the footer and get rid of that johnfahertyphotography home text, and then tweak things up a bit more.
Thanks! I appreciate this as I'm new to design and learning on the fly.

Personally I would remove the ads. Just looks unprofessional.
For your information and guest book pages, you can use CSS to hide stuff like the buy & cart buttons, page numbers, etc. If you need help with that stuff, the folks at dgrin.com are more than happy to walk you through it, or you can find a lot of info there by searching as well.
