Hi,
I'm new to digital photography and am very excited by the range of possibilities. Unfortunately on my first few attempts, most of the pictures turn out with a blue tinge.
I use a Canon S820 and a Canon G2. On my PC Photoshop, the picture looks perfect, but the final printout has a distinctive blue tinge.
HELP!
Thanks in advance.

Hey,
I have an s300 and I find that if I print photos on anything other than the Canon's Photo Paper Pro, I get crappy results and sometimes ( on bright white stock paper ) I get a distinctive blue hue to the photo. Try that. It's more expensive than the other photo papers, but if I had bought it first then I would have saved my self lots of headache and money on other paper.

As stated above, the paper is a posibility, but you also need to take into account that what you see on your monitor is not always what you'll see in your print without some calibration.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried playing around with Photoshop to reduce the red in the picture, still lots of blue hue. I'll try to Canon Photo paper next. Thanks for the tip

Let me know how it goes. I found incredible differences from using the Canon paper.
