I shot this wedding in early May. I've been pretty backed up and am just now able to post these shots. If the bride looks somewhat familiar there's a fellow member who helped out with this wedding.

By all means let's have some C&C!

Really fantastic captures. The only thing I noticed were the lines on her back in that last one. It might be a little more flattering if you could touch those up. But still, great shots!

The Ritz? I shoot at the one inNaples... but not weddings. Family beach portraits.I always see them use those chairs and the prop when they have weddings down here....and the blue cabanas!!! lol

Some great angles. Love the one of the flower girl sitting on the sand and where were you in the lift?! LOL
The first one is a little over-smoothed (is that word?) for my taste.

Awesome shots. For some reason I really like number 2. I think it's the emotion and anticipation of the moment, father and daughter before the wedding. How did you take this shot? Did you climb on one of handles in the elavator??

Very nice series... the only things that stood out to me (probably picky) is the zipper on #7, if you fix up the lines on her back as was mentioned before, you could clone out the zipper handle :)

On #6, I'd have liked to have seen the focus on the champagne glasses, with the flowers a bit out of focus and of course the B&G out of focus. Very interesting shot, though... maybe next time you have a chance to set up that kind of shot, do 3 of them... each focusing on a different subject... flowers... glasses... B&G.

1 - Nice shot, but looks really processed. Is sher skin really that smooth? :) I doubt it.. :) Hehe. I would definitely dial back. She looks plastic.

2 - Love this, what a cute shot.

3 - The crop is a little meh, but not bad. I like it overall.

4 - I may work on teh editing on this, it seems a little dull and dark to me, personally. But nice shot.

5 - Again, nice shot, I feel like the editing needs a boost.

6 - Nice.

7 - VERY nice. Love this one.

One thing I strive for is a change in perspective. All I did for this shot, and the one of the entire wedding ceremony, was raise my camera over my head and shoot with a fisheye. It's taken some practice to get to know where the lens is actually pointing/focusing (without firing off a burst) but I've gotten some great results.

I can say that with a fisheye (15mm) that technique was a little trickier than with my 24-105mm! I've caught my flash cord in the frame a few times...

Valid question. My gear list is what I actually own...alas I rented a fisheye (Canon 15mm) for that wedding. It was well worth it so I'm planning on buying it as soon as I can. Or the 70-200 f/2.8 IS....

If anyone wants to rent some glass I would highly recommend this site. They were very quick and well priced.--> LensestoRent.com (http://www.lensestorent.com/) <--

or just some and then switch...
thanks & by the way Fantastic shots. love em i would be completely satisfied

Yup. Clearwater Beach.

I knew it! I know where that is, when was this because I was out there one day not too long ago (it seems) and there was a wedding setup, although I'm sure there are weddings all the time there.

I was reading your gear list and don't see how a fish-eye listed, did the 24-105 produce the shot in #4, or is this some post processing tool?

It was a Canon 15mm fisheye I rented from LensesToRent.com (http://www.lensestorent.com).
No PP on those two images.

I used a preset in Lightroom to give it a Nostalgic/Antique finish.

Ahaha, not to sound mean, but it would be impossible for him to be on any of the rails, as all three walls are shown with rails. meaning the 4th would have had to be the door! :D

Not really, it would be very easy for someone to stand on the rails. They would just have to use the 2 side walls instead of the 1 wall. Standing on just one rail and holding your gear would be hard enough anyway, with or without a door. And btw don't elevators have rails all the way up to the door, even on the same wall as the door?

A very nice set of images. My only gripe would be with the sloppy cloning in photo # 4. There is half a dude kneeling in the sand next to the violin on the chair on the right........

HAHAHAHA.... that's fantastic!!!!

Your photos look gorgeous! The lighting is spot on in all of them. Some people get it and some don't... you clearly get it. My only gripe is with #3. It's a great shot, but it's hard to say what of. If going by a centered comp... it's a shot of the interlocked arms. If going by the rule of thirds... her bustline. I think I would have loved it more if the boquet was more in the frame and it was cropped so the flowers would be on the left third of the frame, eliminating a lot of the grooms shirt.
