Just starting to experiment. I think this could have come out a lot better.

Attached one of my setup. Using a desk lamp and white t-shirt. Maybe I should start ironing my clothes ;)

Was using a tripod but couldnt get low enough so tried held my breath and started shooting.

What can I do to improve next time? Specifically the background and lighting. I've got to admit I was inspired by this post (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=50778)by J.A.F. Doorhof and just happened to be drinking margaritas.

Merry Christmas all.

Amazingly, the shot I like best is that of the setup! I believe you have flattened the co,position a little bit too much in your three attempts. Try and create a sense of depth, use several lightsources to create a sense of life (more dynamic shading). I like the wrinkled T-shirt though. Don't iron it, it brings a bit of life through its structure
