An engagement session I shot on Sunday, feeling like it's not my best work, very hard couple to work with. But I tried my hardest to be creative as I could with them.

Jeff,
Good work as usual. I thought that I was the only one that had couples that were not comfortable with the camera.

I think these shots are pretty good. I'm not sure about the composition in 2,4, & 6, but that may just be my taste. Your colors are spectacular.
What do you mean when you say they were difficult to work with?

Meaning they were hard to get comfortable in front of the camera.
And personally I LOVE the composition in #4 & #6

Great shots. Here's my 2 cents, for what it's worth. Shot #1 seems a little cold to me, in that the couple is looking away from each other (though I like the vignette over the bottom half). If that's the effect you are after, great! In #2 it looks like an unnatural pose for the couple (maybe it's the guy's hand on his pocket that bothers me). Those are just nit-picks, however. Love the rest, especially 4 & 6! You obviously are a GOOD photographer and I'm sure they will be pleased!

That would definitely teach unruly couples a lesson or two!!
I like them, and I like the compositions... too bad they were so hard to work with. They don't look enthusiastic. :P

Love your locations! #1 is awesome. Yeah they look somewhat miserable, particularly the guy but I think you did a great job with them :) Love your colors and processing.

#4 is my favorite. What were you standing on? Did you have a ladder?
Amazing as usual.
I need a "I wanna be like Toogy" t-shirt.

#4 is awesome! Given your couple's attitude I think you got some great photos in spite of them!

Thanks!
I was actually on a bridge when I took that shoot, using my 70-200 F2.8, it was shot at 90mm

+2 on the Toogy shirt..we should market them! I love 4, the was the tracks curve is awesome. #2 makes her look a bit pregnant, but we can't control our model's body types, if we could we'd have perfect models everytime! Great job again Jeff!

Not gonna comment on the above post...:D
However, my first thought was not the best I've seen from him. My next thought was that these look like somewhat difficult subjects... Nice job in not perfect circumstances! I, too, love #4. Not crazy about #1, but that's just me. I do love your compositions and assume that you also get more up close shots of the couple that you're not posting.
Question on the side: What do most of your couples do with these E sessions? Wall portraits? Signing boards? Smaller albums? Just smaller prints?
