Again I've been swamped to have posted these sooner.

A while ago I reached out and posted a question on shooting inside a Catholic church where there was no flash allowed during the ceremony. Here are a few pictures from that wedding.

The first picture is from the actual ceremony. I darkened it a little bit to emphasized the light falling just on the bride and minimize your attention from everything else around. There is no added PP effect. The time of day happened to have the sun coming in right above the stained glass and the light just spilled on the bride herself.http://praisephoto.com/folio/potn/042008/00071.jpg

Looks like you should have rented at least an 2.8 for the church.

There ended being enough light in the church. The original image (#1) was not as dark. I wanted to emphasize the light on the bride but I may have darkened it too much. I'll look for the original and post it as well.

Yes I was a little worried at first but do see the emphasis on the bride.....I like it.

I only had to used my left hand while standing on tippy toes with my eyes closed!




J/K!!! I used a tripod.
