I took a bunch of shots of the ice that had formed on the bare branches of a smoke tree, and I think this one is probably the best of the bunch.

i like it for it's colors
but it's really really busy and it's hard to find a spot that is suppose to be in focus.
i think if there was more of it in focus it would be better.
kinda have to think of winter, winter slows everyone down.

It is cropped down some from the original, and I did wonder if perhaps I cut it too close. I seem to oscillate from having too much "dead empty space" to having too little. Getting a feel for that is something that just comes with time & practice, I suspect *cough* hope *cough*.

i'm also working on that to Sean, it is a tuff thing to learn. but practice and more of it is the only way to learn it and asking others what they think.
