I've been participating in Worth1000 for some time now. And I'm only Worth 44 (http://www.worth1000.com/stories/stats.asp?uid=484657&display=photography) :( so far.
They have some very talented people and some very useful tutorials here (http://www.worth1000.com/tutorials.asp).

I don't really know how worth1000 works but I know someone from here won something from them. I'm sure the shot was a car OOB. :)

this is how it works, they have all kind of contest going on and members enter their pictures (and they are very strict on the entries) then members vote 1 to 10 and the highest score wins a virtual trophy and 100 credits
