Title change not possible?

It seems that I'm no longer allowed to change the thread title once a post is submitted.

Well, I can, but it wouldn't show up the new title on the forum ... is this for good now? :confused:

I'm reasonably sure a moderator can do it for you, so just send any of us a PM and we'll take care of it.

It's a bit hassle for all the mods, isn't it? Seems really troublesome everytime we make a mistake and one of you have to correct it :)

I just went in and changed a title on one of my posts witout any problem. But nobody has responded to it yet. I wonder if the title becomes "permanent" once someone replies to the post.

[edit]OK, I take back what I said. My title got changed on the post itself but not in the index page. :confused:

This seems to be standard on vbulletin.. all of the Vbulletin forums I have been on had this limitation. It is intentional,... and I don't know if it can be altered in the settings.
