A Redneck Wedding

My cousin got married in May and here are the results. While much of the Redneck life was capture on my SD750 here are a few shots of how what can seem so beautiful is still Southern at heart. :D

That's the groom in the background wearing the Wrangler shirt. Now what my family was doing after and what they were wearing was something else entirely. Very interesting but I tried to post the nicer photos, plus that's all I loaded on MySpace. More's on my site.

That dog was in so many shots but that was the key one that made me laugh. He jumped on the bride's dress a couple of times as well during the ceremony.

Nice shots but the title is undeserved. There is (as stated) no chicken. There is also no shotgun and they are drinking out of wine glasses. if it were an actual redneck wedding they would be drinking from brown bottles, she would have on a tube top, and whats with all the shoes. Thats how mine went. JK

Did anyone say that this was a "theme" wedding? To me, it looks like an unthemed, real-life redneck wedding.....no theme intended.

If this was shot in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas or Kentucky, it most likely is authentic redneck.

lol... excellent post... i wish more folks were as comfortable as these were.. instead of pretending they are in some freaky fairy tale when they get married... all prim and proper when they clearly arent. These two are prolly an awesome, fun couple!

They had to dress somewhat nice...it's the after party that makes it better and the photos I shouldn't post.

But i do have a breast feeding shot using a newspaper, drinking beer while playing horseshoes...I guess they were "playing" that. And what the bride and groom where wearing and doing afterwards. Not really stylish though or appropriate for this.

Thats how mine went. JKThe bride is using the beer bottle grip on the wineglass though (3rd photo, 2nd post) instead of the teacup grip... That reinforced the "official redneck" status for me. :-) Sure you didn't photoshop in that dog? That's just too classic.
