Thought i'd post the gallery(2 pages). Comments r very much welcome as i'm a beginner at everything. http://photobucket.com/albums/v627/mrke_mrk/This is a very impressive gallery - particularly for a 'newbie' - interesting photos, very well composed.

I like a fair amount of contrast in my photos and with a number of your shots I would like to give them a post processing contrast boost - which I think would also make them look sharper: but then perhaps others would disagree with me.

I was pleased to see in your waterfall photo that the water looked really turbulent and wet - I hate to see the vogue for slow speeds to make the water look 'velvety' - which I think is unreal.

Appreciate the comments. All of the shots were taken with the black bodied DREBEL/kit lens and the animals were taken with a sigma 300mm

very impressive stuff, i like the squirrel also, do you find the sigma lens sharp at all lengths?
