Car Show Today! New to me Lens also..

I participated in a car show today to benefit a fallen Meriden, CT Police Officer's Scholarship Fund, and I brought my XTi, along with my new to me 17-85mm f/4.5-5.6 IS lens I picked up used from here. I can't believe how blue my skies were. I never remember getting that with my 18-55 kit lens, but I saw in another thread it is possible....

But here are some pics. Some of them haven't been cropped, so I apologize. I also apologize for my lack of variety, all pretty much the same shot, just different vehicles. I am working on that though.

Cars look good! And as far as I know, theres only one blue GT500 around here, I think I know who that is ;-)

the first and third look great - but can you crop out the person in the first? try cropping from the very edge of the white fox and the very edge of the red one (to remove the people in the background)

I have since done some cropping, taking out the objects in question. I'll try to get them uploaded and show them.

I usually hit up Burger King, and also Panera Bread. Both have great cars.
