Analog or Digital for LCD monito? Which one get best result?

just bought a brand new lcd monitor, but i was reading about analog and digital, which one get the best quality and image for my monitor?

so with digital i just hook up my digital cord to my video card and tkae out the analog correct?

And try not to get duped by getting "High Quality" digital cable. AFAIK, any digital connection (DVI & HDMI) is just pure 0 and 1 so it either connects or not. Unlike analog cable where interference is a factor.
