S70

I have been lucky enough to be given a PowerShot S70 as a present from a Japanese friend.

He was able to include an English language version of the Camera User Guide and the software has been easy to install.

However in the box there is a colour A5 sized guide which I'm sure I would find very useful if it wasn't in Japanese! I am trying to get hold of an English language version of this. I have tried Robert Scott Associates of Oxford but they can't help.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of one these little guides?

I have never had/used a digital camera before and I need all the help I can get.

I have a S70 too, and I download from CANON some PDFs with all the documents you're looking for, they will help you understand the camera functions.

Then where it says PRODUCT USER GUIDES & MANUALS. Click on:
"Click here to download the file"

Then another window opens, you choose "English Manuals"

And then they appear all with instructions for downloading.

Thank you so much for taking the time & trouble to post all this information for me. I will download these files anyway as I'm sure I will find them useful.

I have been searching on the Canon-Europe site & never thought about looking on the USA site.

I am very grateful & I will let you know how I get on!
