I saw a bag a while ago on here somewhere, Can't find it anywhere!! The thread it was on had a guy snow skiing or snowboarding, it was a pack that strapped to your chest that could hold a camera and a 70-200 lens on it. i know that lowepro has one (see picture), but if i remember right there was another brand out there that had one like this.
What i am looking for is a bag that i can hike with. It is going to eb my wife and I with two children. My wife is going to carry a Day Pack with kids stuff, food, etc.... I will be wearing a frame pack to carry my 3 years old on my back,
So a camera backpack is out of the question, due to running out of backs :D. this is the gear that i want to carry
xti gripped
tamron 17-50
Canon 70-200 2.8 IS
Batteries/filters (ND/Polirizing/etc..)
I know the bag I saw had parts where you can strap lens bags onthe side of the bag. PLEASE HELP ME :D We are planning a 10 day road trip to acadia national park in maine.
ps. Anybody have any good idease of things to do around acadia?

One of the best sources for bag identification is CamBags (http://www.cambags.com/reviews/index.php). They don't have everything, but they have a lot of current and older bags with reviews.
Things to do around Acadia NP?
There is a really good swimming beach at Echo Pond
Bass head light
Mt Cadillac at sunset (or sunrise)
Walk to the top of Acadia Mt for good views of Somes Sound
Kayak or boat tours
on the way to there (assuming you are driving) explore Ft Knox on the Penobscot river...

IIRC it was posted by Ben Jacobsen (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/member.php?u=48882). Maybe this one (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=422786)?

I'll bet you hands down it was ThinkTank's digital holster. From what you are describing, I'm sure this is what you are after.
The harness part is an optional add-on that costs more money.

Let me know if I guessed right.

yeah that is it!! I am not sure if i want that now. Looking at the lowepro, the lowepro looks bigger and bulkier, but looks like it will hold everything i need.

Not sure which way you're coming through but I would assume you're doing 78->84->90->95?
Acadia NP is pretty cool, IMO. I remember as a young kid, riding bikes and walking through a lot of Maine's beach towns, just window shopping, walking down the beach, clamming, etc.

I also am all but sure that you saw an ad for Think Tank. They are excellent bags and really designed for heavy use. They have integrated rain covers to completely enclose the contents to protect it from precipitation.

Fort Knox is in Maine's Fort Knox State Park right off of Highway 1 & 3 across the Pennobscot from Bucksport. It is maybe 30 mi (50KM) from Acadia. If forts are your thing, there are also another downriver at Castine. There is a good website on Fort Knox here (http://fortknox.maineguide.com/)

The Lowepro Toploader 75AW will do exactly what you want, and the quality is very high.
