good question...I have some Niklon lenses that I'd love to use on my Canon digitals.

Bad move
FD to EOS adapters have to use an optical element to acheive infinity focus and that only degrades image quality
Nikon lenses on the other hand simply need a cheap metal adapter to fit on EOS cameras. That means the optics are perfect.Yeah,it's abit ironic!;)

DO NOT PAY THOSE STUPID HIGH PRICES FOR ADAPTERS!!!!
They sure have a damn cheek asking the amounts they do:mad:

I've used many cheapo adapters of various types and have only had one that was a slightly bad fit on the camera (it was abit tight)
Adapters are made on lathes-it's impossible to make them crooked

Nikon and M42 (old screw mount) adapters are available off ebay for about $25 and $35 respectively

Others that fit EOS without resorting to optical elements are Contax/yashica,Leica and Olympus OM.Sadly you'll have to pay through the nose at camera quest if you want to use those lenses
