This May, I was able to spend a week up in Moab, Utah with a couple members from my Jeep club and some other enthu's. Way too hard figuring out just 8 shots to post, but here are a few that represented the journey. For those familliar with the area, we ran Hell's Revenge, Steel Bender, Behind the Rocks, and Pritchett Canyon. Awesome area; scenic everywhere you looked.

If you should want more, I have some of the betters and more scenic ones uploaded in slideshow form Here (http://www.higherground4x4.com/Moab_08/slideshow.html)

Awesome shots, all of them. There's a heap of stuff on youtube like this. Shot #7 looks like a hells of a ride. I saw one on YT where the car rolls backwards down there.

Mick.

PS. Love the way you got away from the crowd to shoot #7 too. You'd have the most original shot of that one.

Those shots are awesome! I love the color and composition. I hope that truck didn't do a backflip in the last one!

Thank you for the comments.

No back flips this time, but some close rolls like #3.

Yes, #7 is of Hell's Gate where many have rolled. This one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouWJa6FC7-E)where the driver clearly doesn't listen to her spotter's directions comes to mind the most. My guy was almost to the roll spot in that vid when his tire lost a bead (rear passenger if you look close). He had to stand on his brake until they winched him the rest of the way up. Everyone else in the group made it ok.

#8. This was actually taken on his first attempt. Upon reaching that height, he actually threw it in reverse, and came straight down back into that hole. After composing himself he tried and succeeded the full climb on his second go. Also, I did play with the notion of removing the girl from the photo, but since this was his wife... she added to the shot.

Awesome shots here! I have a '01 TJ but it's my daily driver and bone stock. I would love to go on a trip like this some day.

Awesome photos! #1 looks like Lions Back. I like #6 the best.

I've riden the mountain bike a few times there, brutal to say the least.

Nice series. Does #4 make anyone else want to laugh? Don't know why, but it did me. Maybe it's the flea on an elephants butt thing.
