Local community held a couple of basketball games this weekend to help the victims of a recent tornado. Comments and criticism always appreciated.

It's just a personal style, but I love your "in your face" upclose captures of the athletes and others. Great work.

Wow! Very nice! Is this ambient light? If so, this is way more light than most gyms. What were your settings (ISO, speed etc)?

I photographed the games using alien bees 800s (three of them). Once you go with off camera flash for basketball, it is very hard to go back to shooting with ambient light.
The exif data is still instack on the images. Most of them were shot with ISO 800, F4 with a 1/250 SS.

I thought that might be the case. I'm planning to do a similar set-up at our high school gym next season with two White Lightning 1200's and trip them with Pocket Wizards (or maybe Skyports). I know what you mean about the difference between ambient and strobe. I think you did an excellent job. It was hard to tell you used strobe!
