I've tried a handful of panorama softwares, but I was wondering what other people use. My best luck has been doing it the slow way with PhotoShop. There's gotta be an easier way to connect my photos into a panoramic image right? Please post any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

It would be nice to know what you have already tried. I've tried more than two handfuls of stitchers and now use only Panorama Tools, together with PTGui. The main advantages are:

- It corrects lens distortions.
- Warps and aligns images accurately.
- Does multi-row stitching.
- Handles a tilted camera.
- Can deliver a Photoshop .psd layered file with masks so that minor stitching errors can be easily corrected.

On the debit side is the fact that it is not good at blending, but that isn't usually a problem if images are given the same exposure by using the camera in manual mode or with auto exposure lock.

If you haven't already tried and discarded Pano Tools, then I think you should give it a whirl, making use of the beginner's tutorial at PT tutorial (http://homepage.dtn.ntl.com/j.houghton/pttute.htm)

The PhotoStitch program that came with my S30 works fine for me. I've only tried 2 panoramas so far though.

I use Panavue Image Assembler www.panavue.com and love it. Very easy to use, it blends between images, corrects for edge distortion and produces great results. I spent a fair bit of time on www.panoguide.com before making a decision.
