+1 - it does look like a model in these images but it is a real car (according to Google anyway)

I only ask because the top image has like studio lighting against the windshield, but a city backdrop. And there is a slight hue against the outline of the car that looks rather unatural.

Nice images again. It does look likea model doesn't it? Especially the last one

These were most definitely not shot in a studio, they were shot in those locations. The "model" look is a result of my pp, which is kind of the look I was going for (Maybe there is a tad too much blur to the bg on the second image).

Brought down the blur a bit...think it looks better. Let me know what you think.

I can only imagine the camera's sensor going berserk with all the blacks and whites :D

They look pretty good on my laptop, but I think the whites should be a bit whiter in #1. The door in #2 looks closer to the right tone?

the first two have an unrealistic looking dof. it looks like it was just gaussian blurred in PS ... ?
cool car though.

So you're saying that this isn't loud and attention getting? lol
nice shots btw love the rolling shot..... but i think it's kind of weird that it has a sense of motion without anybody actually in the drivers seat...

This car commands a ridiculous amount of attention. I took a short ride in it while helping Casp with the shoot, and EVERYONE turns and stares. There were also multiple people in other cars pulling out their cameras and phones to snap pictures.

I think the angle is too low in the first, makes it look like the car has the ground clearance of a Volvo.

As low as the car may appear to be, in reality there is quite a significant wheel gap

Man youre too critical of the hotspots. They dont detract one bit from the photo. Hardly noticeable, except for those who look for what are perceived as flaws.
great work. id like to see a shot of the rig setup if you got ont...hotspots and all:p

^I too would like to see the rig set up for those shots as well. What lens were you using on that first one. You got some good distance between the camera and the car it looks like
Great shots, and that car is sick!

lens used for all the rig shots is the Tokina 12-24 f/4 (my great contribution to the shoot ).

I really think the PS blur takes away from the images. The completely even blurring of the fence right behind the car and the buildings way off in the distance makes it look like it is parked in front of a big, cheap muslin.
Great lighting though. Interesting car.

Insane, I love it, great shots too. I wonder if they make white sharpies? Although the effect on a 2002 black Civic sedan won't be as dramatic huh? lol

awesome car, awesome photos. i think #1 is the favorite.
and for those who think it needs to be a brighter color; i bet this gets noticed much more easily than yellow. every lambo on the planet is orange/yellow. dont get me wrong though, a lambo in any color is still a lambo!

more great shots thanks for posting.
I still think the side mirrors should be "Sharpied"; the clean/white mirror really stands out in the first picture.
Any reason know why they aren't part of the art work?
