Our first TTD session was amazing! Tanja was such a good sport and the reactions we got were priceless. Had some harsh lighting (and heat!) conditions to work with, but overall we were very pleased with the outcome.
C&C appreciated!

Great shots, #3 and 7 are my favorites. I know you probably meant for #5 to be dark, but it seems just a little too underexposed to me. I wouldn't mind her face being just a bit brighter. Great TTD though, well done!

Thanks guys! It's ironic that #7 was THE ABSOLUTE LAST shutter press of the day! I guess it just works out like that sometimes.

Thanks! I agree on the exposure on that shot and didn't catch it first time around. I'll play around with it in LR some more this evening. Thanks for the observation!

Seven is ok.....the only problem is I do not like the way she has her legs in number 7. Not girly enough for me.

very nice series, and one of the first ones I've seen on here that I would actually call TTD.

I like them all but #1. I think it's her expression, can't quite pinpoint it. But, the rest are great! #2 is my fav. #5 is a little dark, but great. You can lighten her up, though.

Getting too tired for individual critiques. Overall some fun shots. Agree about #5 being underexposed, and I think your conversions are kind of flat.. I love #4. great expression!

Another great series for TTD. I agree, that dress was actually trashed!
You had a great subject, willing to press the envelope... a nice location (I bet that water was COOOOOLLLLLDDDD!!)

Huntington Beach?
Fun shots!
wow, how'd you know that???? I was going to ask but didn't have to as I live a very short (1/4 mi) walk from my hut to that very spot.
7 for me too! pose fits perfectly with the ttd theme.
Todd, drop me a pm if you ever feel like just going over there to shoot for some fun. I need to do more of that instead of always doing it for someone.

In high school and college i lifeguarded for the metroparks. I would occasionally work at Huntington when they were short staffed.

ahhh, I see. It's funny how every summer I use the beauty of the lake and area to reconvince myself that it's worth living here during the winter months.

Exactly. We have many more shots from the day, but if I'm going to make a thread about TTD, it better be TTD. :p
A few of the other ones can be seen on our blog at http://lindsaytedder.blogspot.com.
Great shots but 5 is dark.
Thanks for the kudos and critique! I agree and will look at it again in LR.

Thanks!

We sure were blessed with the level of her willingness! The word "no" was not in her vocab. The water wasn't too bad actually...we had 5 days or so of blazing 90+ heat so it wasn't too bad.
Excellent images. keep up the great work.
