Taken at sunrise on the field at the local airshow. Waited all year for this event, Day one windy, skies went from ugly to worse to rain, totally rained out the second day. Managed to get these while waiting for the balloon launch that didn't happen. C & C always welcome and appreciated, thanks for looking!

Thanks Andrew! I think it is Vlados loaner, there was no one there but the balloon operators and security at that time of the morning, but this is the Stang that flew the Heritage Flight later that afternoon. The Heritage was this P-51 and an F-16, nothing else, I think the weather kept quite a few away. By the time they flew the Heritage flight we were dodging lightning bolts.

Very nice shots! I've wanted to get some of those here but, even with an editor backing me, the cred dufi just didn't "get it" & suggested that I wait for the tour.

Thank you Frank! Sorry to hear they didn't let you get the shots you were after, I guess our tiny airport has it's advantages after all;). The security was mostly outside the gates, the few people that were there for the balloon launch were just kind of mulling around wherever they wanted. I actually had to wait for a small family that was walking around the plane, kicking the tires, etc. to clear out before taking these. The family and a few others then walked on next to the Mustang and were getting hands-on with the T-33 too. I kind of wanted to get a shot of the T-33 too from further left, but chainlink fencing was in the way.

mmmm, first shot looks great! Woulda been superb if you could've got just a little lower and buried the trees behind the wings

Thank you for the kind comment and advice! I'll give it a try next time, these were my first tries at something like this, I'm used to shooting birds in bright sun:)
