Always love the cubs, Tommy, and that's a great shot.

Moppie, I have to admit that this shot has made my "goals" list - I want a shot like this. (Granted, though, I want it with a wolf...)

Anyway, here's one of my favorites of the year:

I thought they were, sometimes its hard for me to tell. But I love them anyway, even if they are wolves.

Perhaps not the best Photo ever, but I love the expression of concentration on my puppy's face. When it comes to Retrieving, there is nothing really like a Lab. This is Ruby, she is my "puppy" at a year and 1/2. Most of you have seen her and my other girl, Lily, who is five and 1/2. (Yes, she caught the ball!)

I think the reason I like this one so much, was how funny it was to see me so scared less than a metre away from these lions. All that was seperating us is a fence, which the camera shot through, and there's also an electric fence just above and below. Anyway, a couple of times the lions roared at each other, and I literally jumped backwards.. as did the other onlookers.

Click for larger

It's pretty much the same for this one as well. So close, I could feel my heart racing. Even knowing I'm fairly safe behind the fence.
Very little zoom. It's really only 30cm away.

This was taken along Cassiar Highway in British Columbia. The mare continues grazing while the colt nurses, even though being "dragged" over the small tree.

Thanks. Not sure if its so much of a technique as a stroke of luck. There are many more failures than successes.http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
