So, this was my first non-friend wedding. I am still in the beginning stages of wedding photography. Every has to start somewhere, right? I am my own worst critic, but thought I'd dive off the deep end and share a few with the pros...
It was a very small ceremony, with what proved to be a tricky lighting situation for me... tall pine trees (South Lake Tahoe..but not at the lake) offering up some very uneven lighting... groom was in the shade, bride in the sunshine. Doesn't help that the ceremony started an hour later than expected. After the ceremony, we were short on time (rush rush!) before the reception, and the bride and groom really wanted shopping cart pics (an inside joke between the two of them) and possible a quick trip to a mini-golf course (those pics aren't posted, other than bouquet pic).. not as fun as I thought they might be). But hey, it isn't a wedding if someone isn't running late and people aren't rushing around like crazy, right?
