Was playing with my new 50 1.4 on the 5D and came up with these shots at dusk.
Can any one help identify the make and year of these vehicles?
THX! :D

No clue what the first one is. But I agree that the 2nd one looks like an older Subby wagon.

What he said on the first one, the second is a Subaru Legacy Wagon and i believe the last one is a Mazda 6?

I believe that design of the mazda 6 has been around since 2003. Though there might have been some slight revisions. I think the grill has been changed, and there might be other things as well.

This Mazda6 has been around since 2003 yes, but it's the old one, as they released a new not many months ago. The new one looks fantastic btw (http://www.autounleashed.com/images/mazda_6.jpg).

Yeah we should have a thread for guess the car, maybe post a part of the car, e.g. the headlights, and we have to guess it.

Nice looking cars.

My dad has a Mazda Atenza (just a rebadged Mazda6 sport version)

The first two are definitely Nissan Micra, and a Legacy GT-B Wagon :)

Glad you guys liked the thread.
Its interesting to see what people drive in different parts of the world.:p
I was getting my VW serviced yesterday and I looked thru the last 2 years worth of Top Gear mag, and every other issue seemed to have an article on ...
Get SMART.
I dont think Im quite ready for this tho. Where do you put your no seam paper?
You could joust with it, maybe...

I drive a smart. Paper rolls are obviously a no go, but you can easily get a backdrop support and muslin backdrop in there

I think were going to see a lot of these, Jay.
I find it amazing that they were designed so that that you could park three in a normal car space for one car, if they were driven in at right angles to the curb. Tokyo type stuff. You must feel like a smart cock roach driving this thing.
Jeramie Clarkson says in "Top Gear" mag that kids went crazy waving to him everywhere he went.
I do think theyre cool and congratulate you on your common sense! :D

They're quite a lot of fun. And damn easy to park!

You have to have a sense of humour to be able to own one

You also have to have a sense of humour to race one up a qtr mile like I did! hahahaha

That is AWESOME! What were the results??

When I was studying in Spain, I loved seeing the SMARTs backed into parallel parking spots. I'm sure I have a picture one somewhere I should dig out.

I did a 17 second qtr mile. Sounds pretty slow, but the smart gear change is about 0.6 seconds per change which is ages compared to a proper manual. When you realise that over 6 gears, that's 3.6 seconds of not accelerating, the time doesn't seem that bad.

Ahhh Santa Pod. 17seconds, thats pretty good for what it is!

WOW... 17sec in a quarter for something like that is quite good.... Even though Im running 11.46 in my daily driver right now :) They are selling the smart cars here in Virgina Beach, Va and I drive past them almost everyday... I am curious about them and wanted to go check them out!
