They look pretty good. If you could blend that light with some light from the sky so there were some highlights in the roof, it might work better to define the car's contours.
Did you try any with the parking lights on?

Hi Frank
Thanks for commenting ! Will try some next time out with parking lights , also want to try some with decent background and have more ambient light in them , still lots of things to try as always , we never stop trying to learn / improve huh ! Also need a longer lead on the travelpak as its quite limiting with regards to light placement and that would have also allowed me to get the more light higher up .

Good looking car. Reminds me somewhat of a Dodge Viper with that paint scheme. :)
I like the way you blipped the gas to catch the needle swing between 4 & 6K on the tach. ;)

ahahahah Dodge viper it aint  but it is quite a rapid lttle machine , the owner has done some mods and its got a fair few horses for such a wee little car.
I had never done a dash shot in the dark like that before but it was fun getting the needle swing right .
Incidentally for the not so young amoungst us the owner is 18 and his insurance is over £5k a year  £5700 I think he said  his mate has an old 1.4 polo that costs him £1700 tpf&t:eek::(
