I'm looking for some ideas/inspiration, and having a difficult time searching for these types of photos.
My sister wanted me to take some of these types of shots, prior to her wedding on 6/20.
Is anyone willing to share some of their favorites?
Thanks!

I would have been honored to shoot Dorothy's wedding. It must have been hard to pry to ruby slippers off her feet. You're lucky!

anthony.. do you have a shot of the 'dorothy' shoes that show the brand name? I love them! I have one pair of red glittery shoes but I don't love them, those are awesome. Haha.. sorry, that's the shoeaholic in me speaking.
Here are my contributions..
A bit blown on the dress but eh, it is what it is.. Light from the window on the right side.

:D
When I pulled her ruby slippers of her feet the wicked witch came after me!

No I don't have a shot of the brand name, but if I see the bride again I could ask. I have seen her a few times since her wedding last year and she stills wears the shoes when she is out for the evening.

That's why I just do that part for them, LOL! They're busy and stressed enough without taking more comands than necessary from the photographer... A lot of photographers even take a pretty satin hanger so that it's not on the crappy store one.

I have been taking what I consider decent shoe shots.....so this past weekend I wanted to make sure to spend some time to photograph the brides shoes in creative places. My luck the bride was wearing old flip flops!

My SIL did that, if I hadn't been her photographer I'd have run to Wal-mart or Target and gotten her SOMETHING... Ugh! I guess they'd planed on going barefoot, but last minute all of her bridesmaids went and bought themselves matching shoes, and she hadn't had time to get herself something.
OK, I guess it's time to go dig something up for this thread since I've posted twice to it and not shared a bit...

Stunt4949, that first picture of the dress on the manequin is really nice. I think I like that one most so far.
