seems dark to me, perhaps the light metering on the bee caused it...im not sure, but i was happy to get a decent bee shot

Totally guessing at lasioglossum species - lovely capture.- Think the exposure is just about spot on- any higher and the flower would have blown.

Thanks Brian. i think you are probably right...i edited levels a bit, as i normally do, and it nearly whited out the flower...so i backed off a bit to keep the bit of petal details.

I agree, couldn't have gone any lighter on that one, tough situation. Sometimes a little liberal PP can do the trick when the scene isn't forgivning enough. Sometimes a little sharpening can do a lot too.

Thanks Froggr and Alby. i tend to have some bad luck with bees also..lol
so any shots i get...you bet im going to post um!
