Did POTN get a new favicon?

I just noticed the new favicon. How long has it been there?

What was the old one?

The blue camera I've seen for years is gone, now it's a whitish box with gray fill and some gray lines...

You'll need to clear your internet cache then. Something's gone haywire on your system...

still a mystery.

I cleared out the cache and temp internet files.

I also did a restart.

I still have the same "new" favicon"

Could it be platform specific? I'm on Vista, 64 bit.
Other web sites I visit have stayed the same. Web sites without a favicon I get the explorer logo. No big deal, I'm just curious.

My favicons frequently get muddled up - it doesn't bother me, and I certainly won't be wasting time messing with my cache.

Hell, I thought this happened to everyone....

In fact till I read this thread, I had no idea that those little pictures had a name at all - so I learnt something new today after all...

This is wierd.

Control+PrtScn then paste as new in your photo editing program. Save image as a .jpg and then post it.

Press your "PrtSc" button on your keyboard and then open photoshop/irfanview or similar, open a blank document and go to edit>paste and you will paste your screenshot onto the document. The rest you should know.

I still have the same old favicon.

Maybe you have an oddicon? :D

You are indeed corrupt. The answer lies with the defective browser. Put some Firefox in your tank and experience the web the way it was meant to be surfed!

Try putting POTN in your Bookmark... If I'm not wrong, IE will get the favicon if it's on your Bookmark or something like that.
