AF-actuation with Hahnel wireless release?

Just received my Hahnel remote (radio) release for my 5D and 1Dmk3.

Am I missing something - or is this a feature lacking from the Hahnel? On both cameras, the release will not activate AF (although it does activate IS if such a lens is fitted).

The standard wired Canon jobs allow AF, don't they?

Yep - and just tried it with the 5D - works now.
