good job with the technique. they look very believable, which is not always easy to achieve!

what body/lens combination were these shot with? I just got my 17-40 and want to play around with this a little.

The one of the train tracks looks best to me. Then, maybe the one of the meadow. It seems like the best thing to do would be to pick photos that have things that would be built in a model.

I guess the idea is that you want the picture to look like you took a picture of a scale model of the scene. I feel like the "focal point" in the first one is not natural to me.

The one with the car in the lot...the other things in the picture don't really add to the scale of the car. The same goes for the other one of the car. And the last one seems like it might be tough to work with because of the low angle. A more extreme angle seems to add to the effect on these from what I have seen.

The one of the golf course is nice too. The garbage can on the left seems a bit too blurred for me, being that it is so close to the "focal point"

Now, I know almost nothing about this process, but these are just my thoughts.

thanks people!

yeah its not as easy as i thought it would be. these were taken with my XTI and idk what lense it was for each of them. any lense works really. but its my first time playing with this idea. its harder than i had imagened but the shoot i was origionally supposed to edit turned out looking like complete ish so i took out some old photos in ps and played around for a while till i didnt care about the bad shoot lol.

ive seen that link and its really cool to see what other people can do with just the blur tool
