Is that a live bug? Shot of the bug is fine. The background leaves alot to be desired, unless you wanted an electrical outlet back there for some reason.

yep its real and alive. Found it runing around on the counter at my parents house this past weekend. Yeah the background is kinda not so good.

try to shoot it outdoors without using flash
might get a better image

I have had the best luck using the macro on the Digital Rebel outside with bug shots.

yeah just the factory lense. I would like to get a macro lense for it soon.

i'd like to see it with its antennae in the electrical socket ;-)

nice work getting up close to a live bug with a "slow" camera like the A75 ;-)
