Spotted this guy Xmas day. What a cool treat, a type I've never seen before! He let me get pretty close on foot, get a few pics, and then he took off.
If you're wondering where this was shot? In the parking lot of an office complex - probably the best place to see critters is one of these complexes. Nicely landscaped and usually with plenty of water. Ground cover, ivy, and mulch makes a great haven for little rodents - a favorite snack of the raptor. :D
