I am interested in being a second shooter to an experienced wedding/event photographer. I currently have a good day job, so I am not particularly interested in it for the money currently. I simply want to see if this is something I want to pursue as a career, and invest in some of the additional equipment I would need. I am reliable, intelligent and hardworking. I have worked very hard to learn all that I can, reading a lot and experimenting. I have been using SLRs for 15 years and digital SLRs for about 5 years now. I have also shot a few weddings for friends who could not afford a photographer. I am more than willing to do whatever is needed of me and take direction well. My current equipment includes:
40D
17-55 2.8 IS
Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 II
85 f/1.8
430 EX
Omnibounce and a stroboframe camera flip
as well as some other various accessories. (tripod, monopod, cases, etc.)
If someone also has some suggestions on who to contact or where I should look, please let me know.
