S1IS raw format?

Hi,

I just got a canon S1Is and wanted to know if the camera only supports jpeg?.Everytime I launch photoshop within canon zoombrowser ex it defaults to jpeg.Everytime windows detects the memorycard it sees it as a jpeg.Is there a way to automatically link up photoshop cs to the camera so I can save it as a tiff without converting it to jpeg first?.

jpg only. No raw mode. You can change the compression, but that's about it.

yeah man there is no raw format in S1 IS :(

At $400 new, I guess they had to cut corners somewhere. That said, I love my camera and definitely feel it was worth every penny I spent.

This camera is something to learn from.I am used to sending my negatives to a service beur.. and getting back tga files.I am still used to doing the old way of shooting and digitizing photos.

Isn't it great to shoot photos and look at them on your computer just a few minutes later? I LOVE IT!
