Well, I definitely prefer the color version better. In fact those colors are just lovely...shame to desaturate them like that in my opinion. The one thing about this shot I don't like is simply the angle it was shot at. This is just my totally obtuse opinion here but to me it looks like this was shot by the guy who fell off the wall of the castle on his way down. Makes me wonder if he was base jumping or if he was just pushed! LOL!!!

It really seems like an incredible subject to photograph but with this angle, even with the sharpness, colors and details, it still comes off to me looking like a tourist snap shot....a good tourist snap shot, but still a snap shot.

Not trying to be rude, just my honest opinion...please use it for what it's worth,

Gotta agree with Jim, exposure and colors are good.
It just looks like it was shot from the access road.

Basically this castle being so old. Every possible has already been explored. So I was trying to get some angle which is so common that long forgotten.

Its like a vicious circle. the old style keeps coming back from time to time because there is nothing more to explore.
