Another daft question

I normally use the "Save for web" facility after post processing any images but have been told by my gallery that it may be stopping the exif being displayed. Are there any other options ?

Just save as a jpeg at whatever settings you want. "Save for web" is not a requirement in order to post on the web. And it does strip the exif from the photo.
