Our friend just picked up this CETA aka Collector's Editon Trans Am to replace his 98 Trans am he wrecked a few weeks ago.

We did a little impromptu photoshoot when we saw him at the local cruise in. We only had a short amount of time to shoot as there was a heavy thunderstorm approaching so we went down the road about 1/4 to a warehouse building.

I did a little HDR to some and just a little photoshop stuff to them. I really hope we get another opportunity to shoot the car again for him....preferably with it cleaned up

Works for me. Id like to see some that are a bit more backed off. Not all of them need to be to tight.

Thanks for the comments/compliments. Someone else commented to me also on the shots being all close. I dont know why I tend to do that other then as I told him....nothing nice in this northern VA area but townhouses and shopping centers..and TRAFFIC. There's no old warehouses or things like that which I would love to use as a backdrop...everything is just new and overpopulated.

No its not a mustang thats why we'd leave you in the dust :D Tee hee!

#3 & 6 are a tiny bit tight, but I'd rather see that than a "Car + environment" shot where the car is only 10% of the shot. So it's just a matter of taste & what you're going for. nothing nice in this northern VA area but townhouses and shopping centers..and TRAFFIC OTOH, I think you might be limiting yourself out of laziness? I'll bet I could find some good locations within 20 minutes of where you live? ;)

Im not limiting myself. With the cost of gas and having to run high octane we simply cant afford to drive to what few locations we have around here. If something was 20 minutes from where we are it would literally be 2 miles down the road given the traffic in this area. We are #2 right behind L.A. I used to live only 5 miles from where I work and it took me 30 minutes every morning on one straight road. It's horrible here. Now I drive 17 miles to work and it takes 40 minutes - 60. Thankfully I can carpool and hop in the HOV lane

There is always a good location nearby. Weather is is down the street from work, near the kids school, close to church, next to wal*Mart.... I think you get the idea. Look for stuff near where you go already. Yu dont have to go on a recon mission to scout a location. Some times just go around the block to find a spot.

One of my fav places to shoot is actually the back of the Dollar Tree store here in town. It has a great industrial feel. Quick pic from there for the cardomain site, please ignore the stock rims.....
